About East
Links Wealth
I started in financial services in 2008 and worked my way into financial planning.
What I enjoy most is helping people make clear, confident decisions about their money, especially around retirement, tax and passing wealth on to their family. I set up East Links Wealth to offer financial planning in a more personal and focused way. My aim is to give clients clear advice, peace of mind and a long-term relationship they can rely on.
Family life keeps me busy when I'm not helping clients. I'm married to Emily and we're proud parents to our two sons, Hamish and Rory. Much of our free time is spent exploring the coastal walks and picturesque villages of the East Neuk of Fife. Living in the Kingdom also means being surrounded by some fantastic golf courses, and I enjoy getting out for a round whenever I can.
Planning with purpose
What matters most is helping clients feel confident about their financial future. Many people want to know whether they have enough, how much they can spend, and what they can safely give away. My role is to make those decisions easier, with advice that is straightforward, thoughtful and focused on what is right for them.
How I work
Plan it.
Initially, I will look to understand what matters most to you and your family. My role is to help you make confident decisions supplemented by advice that is personal, straightforward and built around you.
Understand it.
My clients typically have pensions, investments, savings, property or business assets built up over many years. I take time to understand your full picture before making any recommendations, so the plan we build together reflects your life, not a generic template.
Enjoy it.
I stay alongside you over time, adjusting the plan as your circumstances change. Whether that means drawing income in retirement, passing wealth on to family, or simply making sure your money is still working as hard as it should be.
